Daniel Churgin MD, Retina Specialist
Dr. Daniel Churgin is a fellowship trained, board certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical diseases of the retina and vitreous. With his surgical expertise, he is highly skilled at performing the latest surgical techniques for repair of retinal detachments, epiretinal membranes (macular puckers), macular holes, diabetic tractional detachments, and many other vitreoretinal diseases. He also specializes in the medical treatment of age related macular degeneration, retinal vascular occlusions, and diabetic retinopathy. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Churgin provides a great blend of knowledge, warm personality, and a strong desire to provide compassionate patient care for his home town community. He was born and raised in Tempe, Arizona. He is fluent in Spanish and is in the process of learning Portuguese.
